Operational Challenges

Handling oversized and heavyweight cargo requires careful preparation at every stage. Prior to the lifting operation, a detailed lifting plan was developed and reviewed by all parties involved.

The cargo was transported by inland barge and subsequently transferred onto the ocean vessel using a floating crane. Throughout the operation, coordination between the terminal, crane operator, surveyors, freight forwarders, and vessel crew was essential to ensure a safe and efficient execution.

Execution

The lifting operation commenced on schedule and the Cold Box was successfully transferred from the barge onto the vessel. The cargo was then positioned and secured using specialized lashing arrangements designed to withstand ocean transport conditions.

Following completion of the loading process, the vessel's Chief Officer inspected and approved the securing arrangements.
